Robert “Bob” McCarty started his Real Estate career working with his twin brother, Tim McCarty, as a licensed agent with L.E. Boeske and Associates. Tim was a Realtor and a Developer of upscale neighborhoods and condominiums in Winnebago and Boone counties. Bob first worked as the construction expediter on the job sites before getting his real estate license in 2006 to help his brother with sales.
Bob entered the field of Property Management in 2013 as a Leasing Agent with the goal of helping the owner build his small business. He became the Property Manager in 2014, overseeing a modest 35 units. Under his management, the Property Management portfolio grew to over 300 units. In addition to Property Management, Bob has focused his sales career on helping his investor clients to build their portfolios.
Bob opened Emerald Property Management in February of 2024 and Emerald Realty Group was formed in March of 2024.

Heather Weiss is a Rockford native and has been a Licensed Broker and Realtor for over a decade.
Prior to working in Real Estate, Heather worked for over 10 years at Rock Valley College in their Refugee and Immigrant Services program, helping newly arrived immigrants to the United States. She understands how important it is to have a safe and secure home for your family in a way that most people never could.
In addition to working in sales with Emerald Realty Group, Heather is the Leasing Agent for Emerald Property Management. She has helped many hundreds of tenants to identify and acquire housing for themselves and their families. She has a big heart and helping her clients is a big deal to her!
